The course was designed to be six weekends of all-day classes, each covering two different topics. This 6-session course costs RM200.00 (including lunch) and is aimed at young architects with five years of professional experience.
The topic course covers the following: the soft skills of an architect; the development process; feasibility studies; authority submissions; the concept of fire safety in building design; understanding and coordinating with other consultants; managing construction projects (pre-award); managing construction projects (post-award); an introduction to BIM + tools; the practicality of design; and What’s next after Part 3.
The course’s speakers and presenters are registered architects with experience from a wide range of Projects and work experience. With this, it is hoped that this will speed up their learning and get them ready to be a competent and active member of the architectural profession.
