GALLERY VISIT TO UR-MU ART MUSEUM

KLAF 2024, SPACE. TIME. MEANING under our sub-theme : Architects & Art features Ar Dr Tan Lok Mun the brainchild of UR-MU, an Urban Museum art house located at an untrodden part of Bukit Bintang. Ar Dr Tan quotes: “My collection is the story of who I was and who I am”.

Home to one of Kuala Lumpur’s most unique art museums, Ur-Mu opened its doors in early 2022 to be a top tourist attraction in the culture-dense city. Ur-Mu has made a name for itself as a quirky, one-of-a-kind art museum. It features 10 themed gallery spaces, featuring Sens-Asia, People, Kampung Kita, Power Play, Raksasa (Monsters), Superheroes, Framing Modernity, Structure, Made's Garden and the Sculpture Lounge. A roof-top sculpture emerges from a garden overlooking the city.
