Unleash Your Creativity in 3D: with Harith Jaafar’s 3D Motion Animation Workshop

The world of 3D animation came to life as acclaimed 3D motion designer Harith Ja’afar led an immersive workshop on October 29, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Hosted at Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia, Bangsar and entitled “”Unleash Your Creativity in 3D,”” Harith Ja’afar’s workshop encouraged participants to explore the limitless possibilities of 3D animation using the latest Blender software version (3.6.3). Attendees pre-installed their laptop with Blender, a sketchbook, pen or pencil for ideation, and a mouse to make the most of this hands-on learning experience. The workshop was divided into two enlightening sessions: Session 1: Introduction to Blender and the World of 3D Space Harith Ja’afar provided insights into why Blender is an excellent choice for beginners compared to other industry-standard software. Participants learned the fundamentals of 3D modeling, materials, lighting, animation, Cycles engine, camera setup, and system optimization to enhance their creative efficiency. Session 2: Creating Animations with Simulations, Geometry Nodes & Modifiers The second part of the workshop delved into ideation through sketches, geometry nodes, and modifiers, emphasizing a non-destructive workflow.

Harith Ja’afar guided attendees in creating storyboards to streamline the animation process and introduced essential free “”add-ons”” to accelerate workflow.
