In the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of architecture, the early years of establishing a successful practice can be arduous and demanding. Recognizing the significance of mutual support and shared experiences, ten ambitious young architects have come together to shed light on their unique journeys. The Architects that shared their experiences include; Ar. Ts. Afi Muhaimin, Ar. Azizul Azwar, Ar. Esmonde Yap, Ar. Ho Chin Keng, Ar. Lam Shen Fei, Ar. Lee Jin Yu, Ar. Mohd Hezril, Ar. The session is organized in response to the increasingly complex landscape faced by young architectural practitioners with discussion on the obstacles encountered during the inception and initial stages of establishing a practice. By tapping into a diverse range of perspectives, backgrounds, experiences the roundtable discussion delved into an array of topics, including navigating economic uncertainties, such as struggles and challenges in starting a practice, marketing services, and hiring qualities amongst many other hot topics, and harnessing the power of networking to forge meaningful conversations.
