Open Work 7: DR TAN LM ARCHITECT
DRTAN LM ARCHITECT hosted the seventh Open Work event featuring renowned architect Ar. Dr. Tan Loke Mun himself on Friday, August 11, 2023. The event started at the DTLM Group in Subang Jaya, Selangor which the attendees were later brought to DTLM Architect nearby. With a career spanning over 30 years, Ar. Dr. Tan Loke Mun has left an indelible mark on the architectural landscape with his innovative and sustainable designs. The event included activities like presentations, office tour and networking opportunities for the attendees. Refreshments and networking opportunities provided a relaxed environment for attendees to exchange ideas and connect with like-minded individuals. Ar. Dr. Tan Loke Mun’s remarkable achievements include his numerous awards such as the prestigious Kington Loo Gold Medal, ASEAN Energy Award, Futurarc Green Leadership Award, and several PAM and REKA Awards. His contributions to the architectural field extended beyond his design work, with roles such as President of the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM), team leader for Malaysia’s Green Building Index (GBI) rating tool, and membership in the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM). At the event’s close at 6:00 PM, attendees left with knowledge, insights, and inspiration garnered from Ar. Dr. Tan’s visionary approach to architecture.
