WALKING TRAIL 1 2 March, Saturday: Historical walk on the east of Klang river Historical walk along the Klang River this morning revealed the past and present site of Masjid Jamek built in 1909. Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback it is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers. It was built on the location of an old Malay burial site. Old pictures featured here shows the site before and after the construction was completed. Our group of “culture vultures” who joined the heritage walk organised by KLAF 2024 had an enriching walk guided by Jane Rai.
