Headstart Programme

Headstart is both a platform for discourse and knowledge sharing for final year degree and master students in pursuant to their job-hunting process and starting their career in architectural practices.

In this workshop, we are inviting Ar. Karlson Goh Kar Sheng from one of most established architectural practice in Malaysia, DP Architects Sdn. Bhd. as the guest speaker to share his experience and views of a practitioner of the expectations and concerns of processing recent architectural graduate job applications. We will then proceed to an Open Talk with panellists. To conclude the workshop, we are organising ‘job interview’ simulations in which each panellist will interview students who have signed up in advance.

• Introduction by Ar Ellina Rahman, Head of Educate_ KLAF

10.30 am
• Career Talk by Ar Karlson Goh Kar Sheng from DP Architects Sdn Bhd - Preparation for working life of an architect

11.00 am
• Open Talk between panels and students
• Refreshments

12.00 pm
• Interview Simulations session (15 mins for 1 group)
• Wrap Up Session
