Workshop Intro
In the late 19th century, the cyanotype process was adopted by architects and engineers as a way to create blueprints. Blueprints were used to copy architectural and engineering drawings, and they were a valuable tool for communication and collaboration.
In this workshop, we will learn about the history of cyanotype, how to create them, and how to use them to express our creativity while collaborating with nature. You will be presented with architectural elements, found objects and botanical specimens that we can explore in our cyanotypes.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to create your own unique blueprint with just about anything and embrace a sense of discovery with this fascinating historical process.
