Add to Calendar 28-06-2019 8:30 AM 30-06-2019 3:30 PM Kuala Lumpur E – volution (Student Lab) Student Lab themed E – volution is part of the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival 2019 (KLAF 2019:Tomorrow). The lab invites young thinkers to a journey of Art and Science X- ploration and what it holds for the future.

Inventions like floppy discs, VCR, walkmans were once high-tech – now aren’t – proved that E-volution happens in a fast speed before many of us can learn how to program one. Who would expect holograms, VR, 3D printers, robots can become the technologies of today and will very soon be obsolete.

The lab hopes to bring out the imaginations of young futurists, dreamers that transform Art and Science into what is possible to be seen in the near and far future. Connecting people, transforming living spaces, setting tech-savvy ethos as a basis of integration platforms for the future community that they will live in.

The lab offers 7 areas of interest: Art of Sculptures + Painting, Models, Photography, Animation (Video+Music), Fashion + Wearables, Ergonomics and Exhibition. These areas of interest will be facilitated by art enthusiasts as stimulus to the ideas envisioned. Their work will be encased in a time capsule only to be revealed in next 10-15 years to come.
