We believe that sketching is the best way to pull together ideas and convey a message to our society no matter how simple or sophisticated the concept is. The art of sketching has the power to untangle complex information into bite-sized pieces and make various forms of knowledge more accessible to our society.

Having the vision to make arts and culture more accessible for all layers of society will enable us to increase, and empower arts appreciation among the society in line with the understanding and awareness of sustainable development goals lined up by the United Nation. We believe in the power of arts and culture as the most versatile field to get the society to embrace the idea.

The main idea was coined by the founder of KLSKetchnation, Ahmad Hakym Bin Ahmad Hilmy, a current PhD student specializing in Cognitive Psychology in Sketching in UPM, Serdang and a former Masters in Architecture graduate in Manchester School of Architecture based on his research paper “Sketchnation: Architectural Appreciation through the means of Urbansketching” in which emphasize on the important of sketching in increasing public awareness in sustainable development.

Answering and adapting on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, we championed art and culture development through our focus on quality education and partnership towards the holistic sustainable goal. We work with different bodies and organizations; government, NGOs, schools, universities and corporate companies for the past 5 years, providing them with our expertise in simplifying complex ideas through bite sizes information, ‘sketch’ so its accessible to everyone.
