Topic: Build Better with IBS Wall
The COVID-19 pandemic had caused the world economy to plunged with Governments across the globe to undertake drastic measures to curb the pandemic, these restrictions in business operation had adversely impacted most industries in Malaysia. The construction industry has moved towards a more systematic and automated technique known as Industrialised Building System (IBS).
Common challenges that we faced in today’s conventional way of construction are shortage of skilled labourers, lack of quality control and external risk factors that delays the completion timeline of projects.
IBS adoption not only improved construction quality and cost and reduced reliance on foreign labour but also accelerated construction timelines, simplifying on-site management and safety and reducing the construction industry's environmental impact.
With the full IBS structural system, it offers a lightweight wall panel system that reduces labour costs and accelerates project timelines, cutting down half the time required for conventional brick wall. It has high thermal resistance and is also certified by Bomba Malaysia to have a fire rating of up to 4 hours. IBS is the future of home building and a sustainable construction method to attain quality with higher precision and productivity.
