Celebrating GROWTH of architecture and its knowledge at SHINE EXHIBITION

SHINE Exhibition was officially launched on Sunday 18th June 2023. The event showcased how the influence of architecture permeates various sectors of society, beyond the design and construction of buildings. The stage was set, the conversations buzzing, and the excitement can be felt from all around the corners of APW. The grand opening ceremony at 4:30 pm marked the beginning of an unforgettable exhibition that will be displayed until 25th June 2023 and is open to the public to showcase the broad expanse of architectural knowledge.

The started with an opening speech by. Ar. Adj. Prof. Norzaini Mufti, the Director of KLAF2023: NEXT100, followed by Ahmad Hakym Bin Ahmad Hilmy, the EXTEND Convener with Arda Bahar, the SHINE Curator, and officiated by the PAM Deputy President, Ar. Adrianta bin Aziz.

SHINE Exhibition celebrates those who, with their architectural knowledge, have branched out to find success in fields like arts, photography, graphics, performing arts, journalism, and more. This synergy between architecture and other industries was the heart of SHINE, drawing audiences into a world where boundaries are blurred, and possibilities are endless.

Two architectural graduates stole the spotlight with their main installations that were not just displays, but stories of their unique journeys and experiences. Their works served as a testament to the holistic and cohesive character-building power of architectural knowledge, captivating and inspiring every visitor.
